The Hohenlindener Sauschütt has become particularly well-known thanks to the educational forest trail laid out in 1967 by the Ebersberg Forest Protection Association and the Ebersberg State Forestry Office. This was the first of its kind in all of Upper Bavaria and is still very popular today.
